Airline parody account sends hilarious tweets

Gone are the days of the outraged letter of complaint or even the hissy fit to the manager. These days consumers know that the quickest way to get any sort of reaction out of a company or brand is to go straight for the jugular on social media when service is unsatisfactory. 

However, a few angry United Airlines passengers have been caught off guard by flippant and unhelpful replies to twitter complaints over the past few weeks. Had they checked their spelling of the United Airlines twitter handle first, they may actually have gotten a more appropriate response. 

A parody account called @UnitedAirlanes has been responding to huffy tweets by passengers who were actually trying to direct their complaints to the airline's official handle @United, and it's simply hilarious. 

The Daily Mail reports A Tmblr user called LeonsBuddyDave is believed to be behind the spoof account, which was created more than a year ago. When he realised that people were mistaking him for the airline, he decided it woul just be appropriate to have some fun.
