Forget snakes on a plane, this dog took air travel to the NEXT level with its goods

2014-06-02 11:03
Cape Town - We have fully come to terms with the fact that there is never a dull moment in air travel.

An incident involving a dog, some poop, and people getting sick, resulted in a plane having to do an emergency landing.

NBC News reports that a large dog proceeded to “poop” in the plane’s aisles as many as three times, making passengers physically ill.

The situation got worse after the airline reported that they had run out of toilet paper to clean the mess (seriously?) which then prompted an emergency landing.

The smell was just too much to bear for passengers.

Some passengers even took to Twitter, to shed light on the ordeal:

We can’t help but wonder what the dog was doing there in the first place? Service dog maybe?

South African Airways, (and many other airlines) have strict rules around pets and air travel.
For instance, SAA says that with the exception of service dogs, pets cannot be carried in the passenger cabin. Service dogs are also carried free of charge.
