New charter flights to Plett

Johannesburg – A Johannesburg-based charter company has seen a gap in the market and will soon be launching flights between OR Tambo International Airport and Plettenberg Bay.  

Fly Cemair will be kicking off the new route on 28 March 2014 and will simultaneously launch a Cape Town leg.  

Tickets for the Johannesburg-Plett route are expected to start from R1 749 one way, while the Cape Town route tickets are expected to start from R1 449.

Beechcraft 1900 aircraft will be used on the route, which means that luggage will be limited to soft hand luggage - maximum 20kg per passenger.

Flight times are as follows: On Fridays and Sundays - FlyCemair leaves Johannesburg at 09:00, and arrives in Plett at 11:30. It then departs Plett at 12:00 and arrives in Cape Town at 13:15.  It then leaves Cape Town at 14:00 and arrives in Plett at 15:15. It then leaves Plett at 16:00 and arrives in JNB at 18:30.

On Saturday it is scheduled to leave OR Tambo at 09h00 and arrive in Plett at 11h30. It then is scheduled to leave Plett at 12h00 and arrive at OR Tambo at 14h30.
