kulula inaugurates new Lanseria runway

Johannesburg - On Monday, kulula.com had the honour of being the first airline to land on Lanseria International Airport's new runway.

The kulula Boeing 737-800 aircraft was on route from Durban and touched down just after 09:00. Captain Martin Louw was invited to pilot this significant flight as, together with kulula, he has had a long and loyal association with Lanseria International Airport.

As the first successful operator to fully commercialise scheduled flight operations in and out of Lanseria, we felt it was quite befitting that we were able to enjoy this privilege," says Iain Meaker, Commercial Distribution Executive for Comair.
