Johannesburg - Low cost carrier kulula has announced that it will now offer flights between OR Tambo and East London. From 28 November 2012 customers can start booking seats on this route, with the first flight taking place on 1 March 2013. The estimated travel time is one and a half hour trip from OR Tambo International Airport on kulula.com’s new 189-seater Boeing 737-800. There will be two flights daily flying in and out of East London, to and from OR Tambo International. Marketing Manager for kulula Nadine Damen says, “We have introduced this route to meet the demand for flights in and out of East London, and to support the economic growth of the Eastern Cape. We are thrilled to be able to address this need for our kulula fans, by making it easier and more affordable to fly to and from East London.”kulula.com will also be increasing the frequency of flights between Johannesburg and George, and between Johannesburg and Durban to satisfy demand.
