Classic road trip: Vintage cars in Kruger Park

Cape Town - Game drives and classic cars.

While most people would probably consider the two mutually exclusive hobbies, a bunch of wildlife loving motoring enthusiasts proved that the two can be married rather successfully, not to mention beautifully, when they spent a weekend exploring the Kruger National Park in cars dating as far back as 1930.

Johan Vermeulen, a freelance photographer, joined the journey and told Wheels24 about his experience, stating that driving around the park in vintage cars was quite an experience and that fortunately they were there during May when air conditioning was not a necessity. 

The three cars used on the trip were a 1946 Chevy Pickup called Jim, a 1930 Ford Model A called Rosie as well as a 1952 CJ5 Willy Jeep.
