Rude safari guide spoils sighting for Kruger visitors

Visitors to the Kruger National Park stumble on a truly amazing sighting... and then a safari vehicle comes along and messes everything up. Check out this video. WATCH

Cape Town - Visitors to the Kruger Park recently stumbled upon a truly unique sighting in the Kruger National Park, as a large elephant found himself a little agitated and decided to take it out on two nearby rhinos.

Now this sort of interspecies interaction is rather rare, so the self-drive guests got their cameras out and started rolling.

However, before the pachyderm tête–à–tête could run its course, the moment was spoiled when a large open safari vehicle came along and chased the creatures off the road.

This comes shortly after tourists to the park reported that a Kruger official had alighted from his vehicle and fired three shots to get an elephant - who had posed no real threat - out of the road.

This made us wonder whether the people who should be at the forefront of protecting animals, have instead become the most inconsiderate in their dealings with these vulnerable wild creatures.
