Quirk Marketing Agency took Nelson Mandela's story and turned it into a short stop-motion film using Lego in a bid to keep Madiba's legacy alive through the toy. Watch.WATCH

Just a little while ago we did an article about the ‘world’s cutest pilot’ – a little Lego jetsetter who takes his job very seriously.

However, we couldn’t help but wonder… who does he actually fly around? Or is he just a massive poser?

Well, now we feel kind of bad, because photos have been surfacing on Instagram and Twitter of a rather glamorous and adventurous Lego couple who almost certainly make use of Lego Pilot’s services.  (Sorry for doubting you Lego Pilot!)

The Lego Travellers, as the miniature tourists are quite suitably known, have been globetrotting for close on a year now, sharing their adorable holiday snaps as they go along.

Currently travelling around Australia, the pair go by the following motto, coined by Joseph Chilton Pearce: "Play is the only way the highest intelligence of humankind can unfold."

While their life may seem like a romantic getaway for two, their party is actually made up of four – along with their human chaperones.

Scotland Now reports that the Lego Couple are the alter egos of Craig McCartney and Lindsey Haggerty, both 31.

The Scottish couple are now halfway through a round-the-world trip and have been documenting their journey in this playful way since the very beginning.

According to Lindsey, it all started when Craig discovered his childhood Lego collection in his mother’s attic shortly before they took off on their travels.

Although it started as a bit of a joke with only family and friends liking their Facebook page, they have gained a major following, boasting more than 6 000 fans on Facebook and Instagram.

Check out a few of their pics below:
