Kid gives Dad’s passport a revamp, gets Dad into BIG trouble

2014-06-02 10:58
Seoul – While it’s really important to encourage your kids to express their creativity, you may want to keep important documents, like passports well out of their reach.

Huffington Post reports that a Chinese dad found this out the hard way, when his four-year-old son decided that his father’s passport needed a bit of a revamp and proceeded to doodle all over the document during a recent family trip to South Korea.

He decided to add a few animals, plants and people to the back pages of the passport… oh and gave his dad a new hairdo, drew on some eyeliner and blessed him with a luscious ink beard.

Pretty cool, if you ask us, but sadly South Korean border officials didn’t quite agree, refusing for the dad to travel back to China with his family.

Well, what can we say? They're definitely more observant than the Turkish airport officials who let a little girl pass through border control using the passport of a pink stuffed unicorn

Check out the pic that's been doing the rounds on Twitter below:

A photograph of the scribbled passport was originally posted on the Chinese social network, Weibo in May, with the caption: This dad "can't return to the country. What is [he] to do? Please help."
