Plane spotters capture ginormous AN225 plane's take-off

2014-07-04 14:52
Cape Town - The single largest cargo transport aircraft on Earth, the  Antonov AN-225 with its massive six engines, dual tail and long sweeping wing design made its presence felt on the ground and in the air at the Minneapolis St Paul International Airport (KMSP) in the United States earlier this week.

And as is expected when a larger than life plane of this kind takes off - a crowd of plane spotters gathered to capture the ultra heavy departure.

The massive aircraft was reportedly transporting a large freight haul to the European and Middle Eastern continents.  Take a look at these images shared on Twitter.
