Travel: Most Googled terms for 2013

Google has released its Zeitgeist for 2013.

When it comes to the most searched term overall Nelson Mandela topped the list after his death caused a surge across the globe, which also placed him sixth on the chart of trending terms for the whole year.  The top trending ‘What is’ query was ‘What is twerking?’, fuelled by Miley Cyrus’ VMAs performance earlier in 2013.

But when it comes to travel Rome topped the list. Take a look at the rest of the lists here:
