With 100,000 marine animals of over 800 species living in 45 million litres of water, the S.E.A. Aquarium at the newly opened Marine Life Park at Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore is by far the largest in the world. Uniglobe reports that the aquarium that officially opened its doors on 22 November 2012 comprises 10 different zones with 49 habitats imitating different areas in Southeast Asia. Manta rays, hammerhead sharks and Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins are among the fascinating creatures you can encounter there and the main attraction of the Aquarium is the Open Ocean habitat, an underwater wonderland visible through world's largest viewing panel - 36 metres wide by 8.3 metres tall. A day pass will cost visitors 29 Singapore dollars (about R210) per person.
