It seems a bit ridiculous that you would need tips for an elevator ride, but aren’t they just the most awkward environments to be stuck in?

You should be fine taking a lift on your own, and even more comfortable commuting with people you know; but what about those situations where you’re huddled up to a stranger so closely that you’re staring at their pores?

This is where we come in; we’re experts in travel but also avid commuters of elevators (or lifts as you often refer to them). We’re here to ensure that you have what you need when it comes to top travel news, whether you’re hopping into a lift for work, or a space shuttle on a one-way trip to Mars.

Lifts are particularly awkward because there isn’t much space for stretching and movements, and the drawback of poor radio signal transmission cuts off your internet access, making it the most frustrating, anxiety prone transport system in this day and age - though very short.

10. But whatever you do, to avoid appearing as the only scary, weird or mentally unstable passenger in the lift, don’t do any of it alone.
