In response to the article 'Furious Air France passengers stranded at OR Tambo Airport for two days,' News24 Travel reader, Johann Bester shared his experience of the whole 'shambles. This is the worst I have experienced in all the time I have been flying. They told us for two days that the flight will leave at a certain time but up to now three days later on Monday at 14:00 there is still no reaction from them. I have changed my booking to another airline and if I was not told that everything was fine yesterday I could have been in France yesterday already. We missed our connecting train and lost a booking made in our hotels for Saturday and Sunday. They were not honest with us and I would definitely not use them again or recommend this airline to anyone. How they can still operate an airline is beyond my understanding.
