Photo of the day: Bushveld view

2013-10-14 14:44
Living in a country as beautiful as South Africa, it's almost as though beautiful views lurk around every corner.

While we may get a little blase about it at times, deep down none of us can resist the urge to whip out our smart phone or SLR to capture the magic on camera... again... for the millionth time.

There are the classic ones like Table Mountain from the V&A Waterfront or Blouberg Beach in Cape Town, God's Window in the Blyde River Canyon and the endless open stretches of Karoo on either side of the N1. And then there are the special, almost personal ones - the pretty scenes that meet us on the way to work everyday or the sliver of sea spotted from a bedroom window.

We know you have a favourite and we'd love for you to share it with us! Send us a photo (or two) of your favourite view/s to

In today's photo of the day, Instagram user khaleel_18 shares an incredible view of three bridges crossing the Olifants River in the Balule Nature Reserve.
