Photo of the day: Collect moments, not things

2014-02-03 14:48
A pinch and a punch for the (third) day of the month.

But this is not just any month, it’s February, a month we have all come to know as the “month of love”.
Teddy bears, roses, chocolates and pretty much every cute item will be advertised, and while it’s great that there are so many options to choose from to show how much you love and appreciate someone, today’s photo of the day wants to focus on something different.

Coming from user stef__t, the words on the picture “collect moments, not things”are a perfect way to remind ourselves that ultimately, the better cherished things are memories, because, well, they last for a really long time.

A spontaneous trip with loved ones, a romantic picnic, are all ways in which you can seize the moment and tell them just how much they mean to you.

Even if you’re more of a “I really don’t like Valentine’s day because I believe everyday should be valentine’s day” kind of person, the words on the image can still apply to you.

Carpe diem.
