California - Wouldn't it be amazing if trees could tell you their stories? Especially Methuselah, a bristlecone pine that has been around for nearly 5000 years.

Hidden in the mountains of Inyo National Forest, in fear that releasing its exact location may cause the public to disrupt the tree, Methuselah stands, recognized at the oldest living tree known to man.

The Mother Nature Network reports it is the oldest known non-clonal organism on Earth, exactly 4 841 years old. Today's photo of the day by Instagram user, the_goat_in_boats, displays the majestic tree, surrounded by snow in the Californian park.

Have you seen Methuselah or any of the other top ten oldest trees in the world? We'd love to see your photos? Send them to
