Holi Festival of Colours Johannesburg

As part of the eight countries and 30 cities worldwide, the Johannesburg leg of the Holi Festival of Colours 2013 World Tour transform The Mary Fitzgerald Square into a multi-colour dance floor - this is one of the largest festivals in India announcing the arrival of spring and the passing of winter and marks the victory of the good over the bad.

Johannesburg - The Museum of African Design (MOAD) will open as a permanent feature in the Maboneng Precinct in Johannesburg at the end of October.

Tourism Update reports that this follows a series of temporary installations, exhibitions and events over the past year.

Aaron Kohn, MOAD Director, said a key aspect of MOAD will be to connect the existing museum with the landscape of the city.

Check out the Maboneng Precinct website.
