Cango cave tours resume after visitor's fatal fall

George – Tours of the Cango caves outside Oudtshoorn will be going ahead as usual after a visitor to the famous landmark died during an excursion.

Die Burger reports that Johan van Wyk, 40, a disabled resident of Eljada, a local care centre for people living with disabilities, died when he fell and sustained serious head injuries during a tour of the caves on Friday.  

Tours were temporarily halted, but have in the mean time resumed and will be going ahead as normal.
