Kirstenbosch craft Market
The market consists of approximately 180 crafters selling genuine hand crafted goods. There will also be lots of food and drink including delicious pancakes, the best falafels in Cape Town, and halaal food. Otherwise let the Botanical Society’s Kirstenbosch Branch volunteer Garden Guides share all the secrets of the Cape's magnificent garden with you during a two-hour walk that pays homage to all those who turned this old farm into the world class Botanical Garden that is Kirstenbosch.

The Tale of Peter Rabbit

Artscape is always a firm favourite if you’re looking to entertain the kids for an hour or two. The Tale of Peter Rabbit adaption playing out along the stairwells of this Cape institution will engage your little ones as they help the flopsy bunnies to help Peter Rabbit escape from Mr McGregor’s clutches.

Lindt Gold Bunny Maze

If you head over to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront – you little ones will enjoy the little treasure hunt every hour at the Barrow Court. Kids will make their way through the Lindt bunny maze in search of chocolate goodies. Otherwise take them over to the delightful play area just outside the food court, featuring fantastic slides, a pirate boat and even a turning world. Parent supervision required.

Historical V&A Walking Tour

Another fun thing to do if you’re in the vicinity of the V&A Waterfront is to sign-up for a guided walking tour of the development of the Mother City’s harbour over the last century.

The Petty Zoo and Easter Garden

Head to the Craft Market to give your kids a chance to pet and interact with different kinds of animals. Kids can also participate in Sand Art - a wonderful art and crafts experience that helps them be creative! Kids are kept busy by creating their special Easter greeting cards.
