Free Wi-Fi for Sea Point promenade

2013-11-12 08:32
Cape Town – The Sea Point Pavilion, adjacent to the public pools, is the latest public area in Cape Town to offer visitors free Wi-Fi.

People’s Post reports that the initiative has been spear-headed by Up Cycles, the bicycle rental company based at the pavilion, in partnership with Connected Space.

WiFi users will be directed to a URL where they will log in using their email address. For each active user, there will be a 100MB cap per person, per day. The service will be live as from 11 November. A support line 072 979 5056 will assist those struggling to connect.

Other public spaces in Cape Town offering free Wi-Fi include the Company Gardens, Harrington Square and Green Point.
