Kruger visitors advised to avoid Punda Maria

Skukuza - SANParks has posted an urgent notice on their social media platforms, urging visitors entering the Kruger National Park via Punda Maria to use alternative gates such as Phalaborwa or Pafuri, due to on-going demonstrations in the Malamulele area.

Roads are to be blockaded on Monday, 14 October and Tuesday, 15 October.

"We are monitoring the situation; which we hope should be back to normal by Wednesday, 16 October 2013. In the mean time, guests should avoid using that part of the road until further notice," a spokesperson for the park said.
