Kruger visitors to avoid Numbi gate

2014-01-30 11:54
Skukuza – SANParks has advised visitors to the Kruger National Park to avoid the Numbi gate, due to protests.

People started picketing on the R538 road at the Masoyi area outside Numbi Gate on Thursday.

The road has been blockaded with burning tyres and stones and some of the people picketing are carrying items that can be considered dangerous.

Visitors travelling to and from the southern part of the Kruger National Park should make use of alternative gates such as Phabeni, Kruger and Malelane Gates and use the R40.
