The Cape Town Big Band Jazz Festival

Watch highlights from the 2013 Cape Town Big Band Jazz Festival. The festival, held at the Baxter Theatre, brings high school, university, and community jazz bands together to showcase their talents. WATCH

 The City of Cape Town is all set to host the 15th Cape Town International Jazz Festival - here's what you need to know.

The sold-out event is taking place on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 March at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, some 35 000 jazz enthusiasts are expected to attend.

More than 40 local and international artists will be performing with notable headline acts including Cape Towns very own Abdullah Ibrahim, Jimmy Dludlu, international soul sensation Erykah Badu, Jazz-funk bands Shakatak and Level 42 along with favourites such as Jimmy Nevis and Mi Casa.
