Tiffindell open for summer

Johannebsburg - Tiffindell, South Africa's only ski resort, will open for summer visitors after its ski season closes on September 1. 

iAfrica reports that the resort re-opened in June for the first time in four years, following a change in ownership.

They reported a positive first season with accommodation fully booked over the recent school holiday period.

In the summer months, fly fishing, mountain biking, quad biking, 4×4 trail options and alpine hiking headline the resort's activities programme. Accommodation includes mountain suites, family and luxury chalets and are commissionable.
