Cape Town - Flights at Cape Town International have been delayed as fuel stocks ran low due to a planned shutdown at the Cape Town Refinery.

Airports Company South Africa spokesperson, Deirdre Davids confirmed in a statement that to date four flights had been delayed on Monday by approximately an hour with no other impact on airport operations.

"Flights are still arriving and departing on schedule," Davids said.

Well-known South African comedian, Trevor Noah, was caught on one of the Comair flights, operated by British Airways, and live tweeted his frustration.

He wasn’t the only one who just wasn’t impressed by this...

Even the captain had enough...

And you know what they say about mob justice...
