Cape Town - When it comes to effective digital marketing campaigns, you have to give South African Tourism the thumbs up.

If you haven't bumped into the #MeetSouthAfrica hash tag at some point, we have to ask, "Where exactly do you hangout online?"

Most recently the tourism body hosted a group of high-profile bloggers from all over the world, showing them the beautiful and undiscovered nooks and crannies of South Africa. Needless to say, they've drummed up a number of interesting and unique conversations about South Africa as a tourist destination, turning the hash tag into a valuable travel resource for those planning a trip here at some point.

But they're not stopping there. Here's the newly launched video entitled Reconsider South Africa: When you #MeetSouthAfrica you'll reconsider what you think you know.

If you're lucky enough to live here, it will certainly give you goosebumps - and we must admit the twist at the end did in fact make us reconsider what we thought we knew.
