Two more African airlines fly to SA

Starting June 1, Air Botswana will introduce daily flights between Cape Town and Maun, while Air Nigeria, formerly known as Virgin Nigeria will recommence its Johannesburg flights starting June 17,Tourism Update reports.

In a statement Air Botswana said that the flights are introduced just ahead of the tourism peak season, giving travellers the opportunity to enjoy a sea and delta holiday experience.

According to Joe Motse, Air Botswana commercial director: "The introduction of the Maun-Cape Town route is a very exciting development for us at Air Botswana. It is part of our airline's growth strategy which will see the introduction of several other regional routes."

Air Botswana currently operates flights from Johannesburg to Maun, Gaborone, Francistown and Kasane.

The Air Nigeria flights will be operated with a recently acquired A330-200 aircraft configured with 24 seats in business class and 244 in economy.
