This search is looking for the next 'positive hero'

01 December, 08:42 AM

Watch the Change The Stigma Project founder, Charles Jacobs, tell us about The Search For The Next Positive Hero.

Jacobs tells us the project aims to get people living with HIV to come forward and share their journeys with other people, so that they can come to terms with the diagnosis and let others living with HIV know they are not alone.

On a poster for the initiative, the project says "HIV still raises its ugly head everywhere in the world. Let's move away from feeding HIV with fear and rather feed it with hope instead."

The Search For The Next Positive Hero will open on World Aids Day (1 December 2014). You can find the entry form on the Change The Stigma Project website.
