Farm to fine dining: Meet SA's first Michelin star chef

Jan Hendrik van der Westhuizen is the first South African chef to receive a Michelin star, find out how this foodie who grew up on a farm in Middelburg ended up opening a fine dining restaurant in the south of France.

The charismatic chef and his team received the coveted nod from the globally recognised food guide in February. His restaurant, Restaurant Jan, marries French fine dining with South African traditions.
