Maths and science have a bad reputation - Wits professor

Wits professor Marissa Rollnick says one of the reasons students are not taking or doing well in science and maths is because the subjects are perceived as difficult.

Out of the 192 618 pupils that wrote the 2016 Physical Science exam, only 3.7% managed to pass with a distinction.
