TIMELINE: Corruption charges, Spy Tapes and court appeals

In 2009 the head of the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) decided to withdraw charges of corruption against President Jacob Zuma and two co-accused.

On Friday, the full bench of North Gauteng High Court judges found that decision was irrational.

Now the National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP) Shaun Abrahams, must peruse the judgement, as the proverbial ball is in his court.

The matter of allegations of corruption against Zuma pre-date his presidency. The matter has run hot and cold since 2007.
