A Johannesburg woman is looking for any tip offs that may help her find a cellphone that was stolen this past weekend. "I am so broken. I am not worried about the phone. I am worried about the content that is in the phone," Thembi Ngwenya told News24. "You know I lost two brothers and all their pictures are in that phone," she said. On Saturday evening, Ngwenya and her husband Dampino were on their way back home from a wedding. The couple decided to stop at a petrol station in Edenvale.Ngwenya’s throat was aching and she wanted something to ease the discomfort. She went into the shop and got the items she needed."She took out her purse from the bag and then she put the phone next to the counter," said Dampino. It’s only when they arrived at home in Kempton Park that she realised she didn’t have her phone. Dampino drove back to the garage to inquire about the phone - but the staff on duty couldn’t locate it. The coupled returned on Sunday to check the CCTV footage and that's when they gained more clarity on what happened. In CCTV footage that has been circulated widely on social media, two men can be seen at the till shortly after Ngwenya had left. As one of the men pays, the other one quickly grabs the phone and places it in his pocket."If something is not yours, why do you take it?" said Ngwenya. However, the 48-year-old is still has hope that phone will find its way back to her.She is in the process of opening a case with the police."I hope they bring my phone back."
