WATCH LIVE: Packham adamant he did not kill his wife, testimony continues

16 April, 10:21 AM

Rob Packham was adamant in the dock on Monday that he did not kill his wife Gill or dispose of her body. The murder accused took to the stand to testify in his defence.

He is expected to continue testifying in the Western Cape High Court on Tuesday.

Packham described the day his wife Gill went missing and also all his efforts to find her.

The State tried to elicit his views on what may have happened to the school administrator in February last year.

Gill's charred remains were found on February 22, 2018, in the boot of her burnt-out car at the Diep River train station in Cape Town, after the fire was extinguished.

Packham has pleaded not guilty to the murder, as well as a charge of obstruction of justice.
