27 February, 10:32 AM

The state capture commission of inquiry is expected to hear law enforcement-related testimony from former acting Director of Public Prosecutions, advocate Cyril Simphiwe Mlotshwa, on Thursday.

In January, the commission heard testimony from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) forensic auditor Trevor White who testified about the alleged capture of law enforcement agencies.

The forensic auditor was key to investigations into the alleged capture of the police through irregular procurements with controversial businessman Thoshan Panday as well as the alleged corrupt relationship between the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health and Cape Town-based billionaire Gaston Savoi.
