WATCH: Zuma on what to do when people 'don't want you'

27 April, 06:48 PM

It sounded almost as though he was advising himself.

President Jacob Zuma advised what to do when "people don't want you" during a Freedom Day address in Limpopo on Wednesday.

"If you are elected at one point and people no longer want you, humble yourself," he said.

"Accept it, so that change will come if people believe we need change now."

Accompanied by Cyril Ramaphosa, Zuma spoke to tens of thousands of African National Congress (ANC) supporters.

Zuma was the main attraction at a gathering in Giyani outside Polokwane, Limpopo.
