WATCH: Robbery caught on CCTV in Morningside

A video of what appears to be robbery taking place in Morningside, Durban, has emerged on social media.

In the video, five men are on a business premises – one is driving a silver Polo while four other men try to break a door down to get into the office.

The footage was taken by CCTV cameras on the premises on 11 November at 6am.

The men use crowbars to gain entrance into the office but seem to be having difficulty getting in. They eventually try the door on the top level of the building.

The video was posted by community watch Facebook group Intelligence Bureau SA.

“CCTV footage of a robbery Morningside, Durban. They took laptops and other office equipment!” Intelligence Bureau SA wrote in the caption along with the video.

The Berea SAPS were not immediately available for comment.
