WATCH: Highlights from one of the most extraordinary Le Mans yet

Le Mans - The world's greatest motoring race is undoubtedly the 24 Hours of Le Mans, asking a machine to run at optimum level for 24 hours seems crazy.

But since 1923, manufacturers and racing drivers are lured to the famous Circuit de la Sarthe to win motorsport's ultimate prize.

The 85th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans was a race filled with drama and incident.

And with two of the three eventual outright podium spots going to Jota Sport’s Jacki Chan Racing team in the LMP2 class, it was to be a memorable year for the underdog.
