“If I want to spend my first time with someone who’s not my first love, that’s my decision.”

A 19-year-old American woman has claimed that she auctioned off her virginity for $2,8 million (about R39 million) through a site called Cinderella Escorts, the Daily Mail reports.

The woman, who’s known only as Giselle and is from Los Angeles, says her reasons for doing it is to pay off tuition fees, buy a house and to travel the world.

“This is a dream come true,” she told the Evening Standard.

“I’m happy to have decided to sell my virginity through Cinderella Escorts.

“I would never have dreamt that the bid would rise so high and we would have reached $2,8 million.”

Giselle, who says she’s a model, also says that she decided on her own to sell her virginity and that she decided to do it through an agency to make sure that she stays safe.

She registered with the agency and an auction for her virginity began.

Cinderella Escorts, which is an infamous Germany-based agency, says the highest bidder for Giselle’s virginity was a business man from Abu Dhabi.

Giselle isn’t the first to auction off her virginity on the site. The agency gained notoriety when then 18-year-old Aleexandra Kefren, from Romania, sold her virginity for €2,3 million (about R46 million) on the site in 2016.

Giselle adds she can’t understand why people are outraged by the site and women selling their virginity, as it has nothing to do with them.

“If I want to spend my first time with someone who’s not my first love, that’s my decision,” she says.

“In retrospect, how many would probably give up their first time if they could have $2,8 million instead?”
