Boston marathon blasts aftermath

The US is still reeling from two explosions which struck the annual Boston Marathon, killing three and injuring over 140 people.

Cape Town – Police investigating the Boston Marathon bombings have clear video of two suspects at each of the sites of the two deadly explosions and are planning to release them to the public for help with identification, reports said on Thursday.

Citing an official close to the investigation, the Boston Globe said both suspects were carrying black bags.

On Wednesday AP reported that police had the image of one suspect.

A federal courthouse had to be evacuated after police and reporters converged on the Boston building amid reports of a breakthrough in the investigation and conflicting information on whether a suspect was in custody.

The Boston Globe reported that the best video came from surveillance cameras on the same side of Boylston Street as the explosions and not from Lord Taylor surveillance camera, and snapshots from individual cell phone camera users, as had been previously reported.
