Gunman kills Bosnian cop, wounds two in attack

Sarajevo - A gunman shouting "Allahu Akbar" (God is greatest) attacked a police station in the eastern Bosnian town of Zvornik on Monday, killing a police officer and wounding two others before he was shot dead, a police spokesperson said.

"The attacker broke into the station and started a shooting spree in which one officer was killed and two were wounded," Aleksandra Simojlovic told Reuters.

The attacker was killed in a response, she said.

Simojlovic added that the attack happened at around 19:00 (17:00 GMT).
