Indian pupils missing after bus accident

New Delhi - Police say a school bus plunged into a river and at least 15 pupils are missing in the west-coast Indian resort state of Goa.

Police divers and rescuers are searching the waters for the missing. There have been no reported deaths.

Police say the bus went into the Kalvi River about 15km from Goa's capital of Panaji on Saturday morning after the driver lost control and jumped along with the bus conductor from the vehicle.

Both were unhurt.
