Mladic removed from UN war crimes court

The Hague - The judge at a UN war crimes tribunal at The Hague ordered Ratko Mladic to be removed from the courtroom on Monday after the former Bosnian Serb army chief disrupted the reading out of the charges against him.

The judge went on to enter formal pleas of not guilty to the charges after Mladic refused to plead, saying he wanted more time and to be represented by other lawyers.

Arrested in May and extradited to The Hague after 16 years on the run, Mladic rejected war crimes charges against him as "obnoxious" and "monstrous" when he was formally charged at the Yugoslavia war crimes court last month.

Mladic interrupted judge Alphons Orie, as he read the first charge of genocide to him, prompting the judge to order his removal from court and briefly adjourn the hearing.

How about Blair, Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Feith and Pearle? Anyone remeber Colin Powell's animated diagrams he used to justify the claims of WMD in Iraq? I'm sure you'll censor this, like many of my other posts Mr/Ms moderator.

When you make it to the International Criminal Court, you know you effed up, seriously effed up. LOL. Good luck trying to get an acquittal, Mladic.

Well what do you expect, Mladic hardly went there by choice did he... and the international court in Den Haag is a farce in any case, it's not a real court... how many tyrants and butchers ended up in jail forever? And just suppose the defendants had a case, they're hardly likely to be found not guilty are they, so it's partial... Normally the tactic is to delay the trial, then during the trial drag it out, keep quiet, get found guilty anyway and by that time half of the defendants die of old age or illness... by all means bad people must be held accountable for their actions, but the international court is a joke...
