More than 120 Russian winter deaths

Moscow - At least 123 people have so far died due to an unusually bitter winter in Russia, an Interfax news agency report, citing health sources, said on Tuesday.

About 880 of the 1 700 people who sought treatment for exposure were still in hospital, the report said.

On Monday alone, seven people died across the vast country, as temperatures fell to below -30°C. Many of the dead were homeless.

Meteorologists have forecast a significant increase in temperature for Moscow.

      I wonder how would I survive such temperatures!!!!! Yhoooo, when we cry for a mere 10 deg maximum temperatures here in SA, -30deg is death!!!!!!
