N Korea missiles won't reach US - Hagel

2013-04-11 21:14

Washington - Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel says neither Iran nor North Korea is capable of attacking the US with a missile armed with a nuclear warhead.

North Korea has acknowledged it is working on such a capability and has threatened to use it.

US missile defences are positioned in the Pacific in anticipation of a possible North Korean missile launch in coming days.

Hagel was responding to a question at a House armed services committee hearing on Thursday.

He said that while he does not believe North Korea or Iran has a long-range missile that can hit the US with a weapon of mass destruction, he did not rule out that either country could eventually acquire such a capability.

Iran, that elusive bogeyman. Leave the Persians alone, they haven't attacked anyone in over 500 years!

tough job, Fidel, hehehe! i cried for a week when i found out that the tooth fairy does not exist. i may have hated my grandmother for a while after that, but my anger was soon entirely channeled towards a teacher that showed us the easter bunny is just a load of b.s! so by the time i realized father christmas was either an unemployed peado drunkard holding a seasonal job, and at other times just my gay aunt in drag, i simply surrendered....

Jeff, that's hard core racism. If you want to be racist or a bigot using those derogatory words, pls keep to yourself and not on an open forum. It's that hatred that causes so much death and destruction in this world of ours.

What was American Intel on Japanese capabilities just prior to Peal Harbour?

      Pam Seymour - 2013-04-12 01:11

hard to say what it was but fair to assume not much better. the industrial military complex aka u.s.a inc. will suffer the loss of strategic positioning (bases) in that theater far far more than what a few megaton could do to on their mainland. citizens become collateral damage, infrastructures are rebuilt. but 'real estate' is all about location, location, location..

What was American Intel on Afghanistan capabilities just prior to 9/11?

What another American fool. Iran hasn't even got a nuclear head/bomb. They don't even want one. Is anybody listening ? Only in America. Stay away from NK. Negotiate before you go into another war you cannot win. Stop the sanctions, help them help themselves. Beware, NK is close to not having anything to lose. Maybe a war will solve that problem.

was thinking the same exact thing Mr Salvado
