NYC orders 375 000 evacuated

2012-10-28 17:42

New York - New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg on Sunday ordered the evacuation of 375 000 people in low-lying areas threatened by Hurricane Sandy.

"This is a serious and dangerous storm," Bloomberg told a news conference as he ordered the mandatory evacuation ahead of the storm which is expected to start hitting on Monday.

He also ordered public schools closed.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo earlier announced that New York City would suspend its train, subway and bus service ahead of the hurricane, which is expected to bring strong winds and dangerous flooding to the East Coast.

"If it turns and moves off, great. Really great. But if not then we will be prepared for it," Cuomo said at a news conference.

My friend, you are delusional! Christchurch had a major earthquake last year killing 200 people! This is the total amount of people getting killed every 4 to 5 days in South Africa! Not to mention the people getting hit by lightning in SA every year and getting killed! I would not call you lucky! Your death rate is beyond normal!

And some democrat delusionals believe the same, only that when it's hurricanes hitting the States it's 'God's will' but if they hit somewhere like Haiti it's the evil west manipulating the weather with HAARP missiles.
