Seoul - South Korea's military has detected no signs of unusual movement by the North's military following news of the death of North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il, a Defence Ministry official said on Monday.

The official could not comment on whether the South Korean and US militaries were going to raise its security alert.

South Korean President Lee Myung-bak, holding an emergency National Security Council meeting, has put all government workers on emergency alert, Yonhap News Agency said.

Interesting. but the headline could have ended in "Activity" instead of Work.

North Korea's military is like empolying 50000 security gaurds to protect an outside toilet. No one wants to get in. They are there to keep their population inside the country. Hopefully some sanity will return to this nation.

Here's hoping they don't fire a couple of missiles at South Korea.. just to show them they can, of course!
