Los Angeles - The Federal Aviation Administration says another small plane has been intercepted by the military for violating airspace restrictions during President Barack Obama's visit to the Los Angeles area.

FAA spokesperson Allen Kenitzer says in a statement that a Mooney M20 was intercepted in the vicinity of the Orange County city of Fullerton early on Thursday.

Kenitzer says the FAA is investigating.

On Wednesday, an F-16 fighter jet intercepted a Cessna 117 northwest of Los Angeles. That plane was forced to land.

There have been similar incidents when Obama visited Los Angeles in the past.
