Occupy protest outside US Capitol

Washington - Protesters with the Occupy Wall Street movement will meet outside the Capitol in Washington for what participants hope will be the largest gathering of Occupy activists from around the US.

Participants say they plan to protest the influence of corporate money in politics. The House of Representatives reconvenes on Tuesday after its winter recess.

The nation's capital has emerged as one of the strongest bastions of the Occupy movement, in part because the National Park Service has allowed protesters to keep their encampments in two public squares near the White House.

Participants say the daylong demonstration will be peaceful, although it's possible some will risk arrest.

The US political system has been taken over by the worst kind of people we could imagine, they are thugs working for the corporate thugs who fund them. Nothing will change until the US population wakes up from their dreamworld and finds some backbone. Wake up America, it's time for a Revolution. Your country is going to hell in a handbasket, and you're the ones sending it there in the express lane!!
