Russian opposition 'had foreign aid'

2012-11-30 21:09

Moscow - Russia's top investigative agency has accused opposition supporters of attending training abroad as part of foreign-backed plans to overthrow the government.

Investigative Committee spokesperson Vladimir Markin said on Friday the agency had gathered new evidence confirming earlier allegations that leftist activists Sergey Udaltsov, Leonid Razvozzhayev and Konstantin Lebedev had met foreign officials to plot mass riots, inspired by the "colour revolutions" that ousted authoritarian leaders in several ex-Soviet nations.

He said their supporters attended special training abroad.

Charges were filed against the activists in October after pro-Kremlin TV showed a documentary-style film alleging they met officials from Georgia in Minsk to plot violent disturbances across Russia.

Razvozzhayev retracted an initial confession, saying that he had been kidnapped and tortured.

He and the other two activists deny all charges.

What I want to know is, why is he so scared of a few activists? First he put a few punk rockers in a Siberian prison for singing an anti Putin song and now he wants to put these activists behind bars for getting "training". I always liked the Russians, but after all this and them supporting that Assad dictator, I just dont know anymore.

It was as clear as a day, but the thing is some idiots still strongly believe they are standing up for better life (read chaos and total allowance) and follow self-proclaimed prophets whose real place is actually not even in jail but in a looney house . Though this case will be much tougher than Egypt, you assh@les, sirs from America (to anyone's interest the headquarters of so well known Russia without Putin movement is in California). Russian president is not an 80-something years old f@rt going down with cancer.
